Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2856.00/week - Job Summary: The Urgent Care RN provides clinical services within the urgent care setting, supporting patients and medical staff by delivering quality care, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring efficient operations. Responsibilities: Administer patient assessments, specimen collection, and supportive care in collaboration with providers and clinic staff. Manage medication inventory, supplies, and perform quality control checks on Point of Care tests. Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to clinic protocols. Assist in opening and closing provider clinics, ensuring smooth daily operations. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and clinic coordination. Maintain infection control policies, keep the workspace clean, and report safety hazards or equipment issues. Qualifications: Current, unrestricted Alaska RN license; active at time of submittal. Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience. BLS certification required. Strong knowledge of nursing processes, safety principles, and infection control. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently. Demonstrated ability to use medical equipment and computer systems proficiently.
