Job Description
Registered Nurse - Urgent Care

Schedule

Clinic open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. 40 hours scheduled across the week.

Assignment Details

Active Alaska license required at time of submittal.

Requirements

• Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of any type of emergency care experience (ER, UR, flight nurse).
• Proof of flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services in collaboration with providers and clinic staff to ensure quality of care.
• Lead directions for clinic staff, ensuring efficient operations of clinic functions.
• Maintain medication inventory and ensure quality control checks for Point of Care tests.
• Document all care and services provided accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist providers and other staff as needed, anticipating their needs for quality patient care.
• Communicate effectively with different departments to facilitate patient care.
