Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN

• Administering patient care in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
• Managing medications such as verapamil, nitro, and dopamine drips
• Performing procedures including STEMI/CODE MI, PTCA, and Diagnostic Cath
• Operating technology such as EPIC and XPER
• Floating to Electrophysiology Lab and Pod D recovery as required

Requirements of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN

• Active NY license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• 1+ year experience in a catheterization lab
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
