Direct Support Associate – Day Program Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others? Join our Easterseals NH team as a Direct Support Associate, where you’ll empower adults with developmental disabilities and diverse support needs to build independence, engage in their communities, and live fulfilling lives. What You’ll Do Day Program Role: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; 30 hours per week. As a Day Program Direct Support Associate, you’ll support individuals in engaging, community‑based, and skill‑building activities such as vocational tasks, volunteerism, outings, and integrative community experiences. Your responsibilities include providing general supervision and offering hand‑over‑hand assistance, ensuring each person receives individualized support to succeed. Looking for a full 40‑hour week? Start in the Day Program and add up to 10 additional hours in one of our residential homes. What We’re Looking For Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Counselor, Caregiver, Behavior Technician, or Support Counselor. Minimum 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance. Prior direct care / direct support experience preferred, but not required. Compensation & Benefits Day Program: $19–$24 per hour, depending on program needs; full‑time, benefit‑eligible position. Paid DSP Career Progression Pathway offers up to an additional $1.50 per hour by completing all three levels. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability. PTO begins accruing on your first day; up to 9 paid holidays annually plus one floating holiday. Holiday pay for staff scheduled to work during holidays. 403(b) employer match up to 3%. Tuition reimbursement after one year of employment. Student loan repayment for qualifying degrees after one year of employment.
