About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for an exciting 161-day assignment in New Mexico, commencing Jan 4, 2024. This role involves a schedule of Monday through Friday clinic hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, complemented by 24-hour call coverage. The selected candidate will manage a diverse range of OB and GYN cases, including routine and complicated deliveries, FHR interpretation, and both office-based and surgical gynecology procedures. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour call coverage
• Conduct clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Manage a wide array of OB and GYN cases
• Perform FHR interpretation
• Execute OB ultrasounds, including performance and interpretation for level 1/screening
• Perform Amniocentesis
• Handle routine and complicated deliveries, with a preference for VBACs
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Conduct office/minor gynecology and surgical gynecology procedures

• Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• EMR: Epic
• Requirements: Laser certification preferred
• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Out of House Call
• Patients per day: 1-5 deliveries per week, 12 in clinic per day average
• LOA: 161 Days
• Staffing Mix: 2 OBGYNS, 1 PRN APP, MA, RN, and a care manager
