About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 120-day assignment in New Mexico. This role involves a Monday-Friday clinic schedule complemented by shared weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibilities. The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, operative, and emergent OB/GYN care, including C-sections, OR surgical procedures, and labor and delivery coverage, ensuring continuous patient support.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver outpatient, inpatient, operative, and emergent OB/GYN care.
• Perform OR surgical cases and procedures across the facility as needed.
• Provide consultation to surgical and OB/GYN staff on patient care matters.
• Cover Labor and Delivery, including consults and admissions from the ED and outpatient clinics.
• Perform C-sections as required.
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage for weeknights and weekends.
• Respond to patient bedside within 15 minutes during urgent situations while on-call.

• Requirements: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Setting: Clinic and Call, Outpatient and Inpatient
• Call Schedule: Shared weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call. Out of house call. On-call response: must reach patient bedside within 15 minutes during urgent situations.
• Patients per day: 8-15
• LOA: 120 days
