Responsibilities Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including elective and emergency surgeries Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff to ensure efficient operations Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for patients Provide expert consultations and recommendations for surgical interventions Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the surgical environment Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery Experience in a clinical setting, with preference given to those with locum tenens experience Strong surgical skills and the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Current medical license in the state of Tennessee Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice Schedule: 24-hour call shifts Daily Volume: 10-12 Support Staff: APPs Must be board-certified Paid travel & lodging #J-18808-Ljbffr
