Experience in vital signs, pain assessment, intake/output monitoring, isolation precautions, and medication administration. Acute care experience within the last 2 years. Telemetry monitoring and 12-lead EKG experience. Wound care basics and Foley catheter insertion experience.Description: We are seeking an LPN for the Medical Surgical unit. Candidates must have recent acute care experience. The role involves taking patient assignments independently with RN support. You will be responsible for administering medications and monitoring vital signs. Experience with telemetry monitoring and 12-lead EKG is required. Candidates must be familiar with basic wound care techniques. You will be required to float to other units within your skill set. Every other weekend and holiday availability is essential for this position. Candidates must not have any pending licensure; a valid New York LPN license is required.
