Job Requirements

The In-Room Dining Server is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The In-Room Dining Server offers guests an enjoyable and expertly served dining experience while conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence, food quality, professionalism and friendliness equal to that of the finest restaurant in the city.

The In-Room Dining Server serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. This position is responsible for delivery of food orders including any amenities, special needs or requests to the guest in-room. The In-Room Dining Server will check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest's original order and transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.

What You Will Do

• Demonstrate through knowledge and ability, the execution of the service steps (i.e. greeting the guest(s), taking their order, serving of food, wine etc. during operating hours).
• Offer service all guests in a manner which exceeds expectations.
• Understand methods of preparation and presentation of all foods served.
• Have a solid knowledge of the wine and beverages served in the In Room Dining.
• Be vigilantly attentive to service details and product quality.
• Collect food from the kitchen when required.
• Assist in other Food and Beverage areas when requested to do so, as business volumes require.
• Must be able to analyze guest situations and make suggestions that meets and exceeds the guest's expectations of the hotel.

What You Bring

• High school education or equivalent experience
• At least 6 months experience within the same or similar position with Four Seasons or other organization. Hotel or restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing and spoken English

Schedule

• Must be able to work all shifts including AM, PM, weekends, and holidays.
