Quality Control Manager

Our RI manufacturing and distribution company is looking for a Quality Control Manager to maintain and manage our established ISO Quality Management System. As the Quality Control Manager, you will be a Quality professional who champions the ISO 9001:2015 system and continual improvements within the organization. Responsibilities Ensure processes for the ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system are established, documented, implemented, trained, and maintained to comply with certification throughout all branches. Promote awareness and training of quality policies, procedures, and customer requirements within the organization. Report to senior leaders on the performance of the quality management system and any needed concerns and improvements. Work with customers and vendors to ensure final products meet their needs and requirements, researching quality issues and remedies. Establish, document, and maintain quality forms, logs, and records for all branches; ensure quality inspections of receiving purchasing materials and manufacturing products meet or exceed customer specifications. Prepare and revise the QMS documents. Prepare, document, and maintain the certification/registrar audits and internal audit systems of the organization. Update, streamline, and review company processes and procedures. Maintain and investigate RGAs (return goods authorizations) for all branches. Monitor internal customer credits by branch for each quarter and year. Maintain the document control system, Corrective Action, and Non-conformance systems. Summarize CARs, RGAs Credits, and NCRs in reports to senior leaders on quality issues. Investigate and resolve quality issues with materials and/or products. Maintain quality management documents, training records, and company records of compliance in cloud storage for all employees. Manage and maintain records of compliance for multiple business requirements. Oversee and maintain records of lab samples and compliance reporting to the Narragansett Bay Commission for our Wastewater Treatment system; act as liaison between NBC and the plant. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferably in engineering or science with specific ISO training. Qualifications and Work Experience Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Quality Assurance and ISO 9001 standards. Minimum of 2 years in a management position in Quality. Excellent writing and communication skills. Training skills. Excellent computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to travel to each branch to ensure QMS compliance. Preferred Skills Understanding of computer systems. Project Management. Auditing Certification. Ability to deal with multi-levels of our teams.
