Location: Durham, NC / Smithfield, RI (Onsite)

Role Summary

Own overall quality assurance for the FundsNetwork rewrite, combining test planning, manual/functional testing, and quality governance to ensure the new application meets Fidelity's functional, security, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on business and technical requirements.

• Execute manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing across the rewritten application.

• Validate feature parity between the legacy SharePoint-based system and the new application.

• Coordinate UAT cycles with business stakeholders.

• Manage the defect lifecycle — logging, triage, prioritization, retesting, and closure.

• Collaborate with the Test Engineer to identify automation candidates and coverage priorities.

• Ensure testing practices align with Fidelity's quality, security, and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of QA experience on enterprise application delivery.

• Strong test planning, test case design, and defect management skills.

• Experience testing modern web applications (Angular experience a plus).

• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira/Zephyr, TestRail).

• Solid understanding of SDLC/Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
