Certified Substitute Teacher – Kansas City Area (KCMO) | Weekly Pay + Flexible Scheduling

We're hiring Certified Substitute Teachers to support charter, private, and public schools throughout the Kansas City Area (KCMO) . Qualifications

• Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate, Teaching License, or appropriate state certification
• Ability to successfully complete required background screenings
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Previous experience as a Substitute Teacher preferred but not required
• Passion for supporting students and schools as a Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment
• Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies
• Keep students engaged and focused on assigned learning activities
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback as needed
• Adapt to various grade levels, subjects, and school environments as a Substitute Teacher
• Follow all school and district procedures and expectations
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and flexibility in every Substitute Teacher assignment
