Registered Nurse - Cardiac ICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3 shifts per week)

Job Description

The position involves providing high-quality patient care in a cardiac intensive care unit setting. The role requires expertise in managing patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide care for patients on ventilators and vasoactive drips.
• Assist in performing typical procedures such as Post CABG, STEMI, and Vascular interventions.
• Be willing to float to other units such as Medical ICU and Progressive Care Unit as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active AZ Registered Nurse License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, preferably with cardiac patients.
• Experience with ventilators and vasoactive drips is essential.
