Residential Program Direct Support Professional - (on call, PRN) Location: Westminster & Taneytown, MD | Pay rate: $19.68/hour + $2.00 Weekend Differential | Schedule: Flexible PRN / On-Call Scheduling About This Position The Arc Carroll County is seeking compassionate and dependable PRN (on call) Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in our Community Living residential homes. What You’ll Do As a Residential DSP, you’ll work as part of a supportive team helping individuals with daily routines, personal goals, and community involvement. Assisting with daily living skills and personal care Supporting meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping Administering medications (paid training provided) Providing transportation to appointments and community activities Completing documentation accurately and timely Promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion Ensuring the health, safety, and well‑being of residents Flexible PRN Scheduling Our residential program operates 24/7, and PRN staff help cover: Call‑outs Vacations Open shifts Emergency staffing needs You can indicate your availability during the application process. PRN Requirement: To maintain active PRN status, employees must work a minimum of 4 shifts during each 6‑week scheduling period.
