Probate Paralegal

Job description:

• Seeking an experienced Estate and Trust Paralegal for in office position, East of the River law firm.

Responsibilities Include:

• Interpreting Wills and Trust agreements
• General administration of Estates and Trusts
• Gathering, identifying and valuing assets
• Retitling assets and related administrative activities.
• Preparing probate documents and financial accountings
• Preparing estate tax and fiduciary income tax returns

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years law firm Trust and Estate administration experience, however, we will consider candidates with a strong background in finance, taxation, or accounting.
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
• Stable employment history
• Top notch organizational, math and computer skills
• Knowledge of computerized scheduling, time keeping and billing systems
• Detail oriented and able to work directly with clients.
• A self-starter able to work both independently and as part of a team
