OVERVIEW Branch President - Employee Benefits At Alera Group, our Employee Benefits teams help organizations attract, retain, and engage their workforce through creative, compliant, and competitive benefits strategies. We’re seeking a Branch President in Baltimore, MD, who will make a meaningful impact by delivering proactive client service, thoughtful benefits strategy, and a high-touch experience for both clients and employees. Why Alera Group Meaningful Impact: Help clients and employees navigate benefits programs that drive retention, engagement, and satisfaction Growth & Learning: Opportunities to deepen your expertise and gain exposure to a variety of clients and industries Collaborative Culture: Work in a team-oriented environment that values accountability, partnership, and the principles of The Collaborative Way RESPONSIBILITIES What You’ll Do / Your Impact Client Partnership & Service Excellence Partner with clients to deliver employee benefits programs that meet organizational goals Provide proactive guidance on plan design compliance and vendor management Respond to employee inquiries and provide clear accurate information Operational & Compliance Excellence Administer benefits programs including enrollments changes audits and reconciliations Maintain accurate documentation in systems and support compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with carriers internal teams and third party administrators to ensure program accuracy and efficiency Growth & Retention Support new business initiatives with Employee Benefits strategy input Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships through service improvements or additional offerings Partner with leadership and sales teams to support renewal planning and retention strategies QUALIFICATIONS What You Bring Required 10+ years of experience in Employee Benefits HR or related consulting environment Strong client service skills and experience managing multiple accounts or client programs Knowledge of benefits programs compliance requirements and industry best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Experience with benefits technology platforms such as Workday ADP or similar systems Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret benefits data Professional certifications such as CEBS PHR or SHRM Core Competencies Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives Problem solving and critical thinking to navigate complex benefits issues Ability to operate in a fast paced environment and manage client expectations Collaborative mindset to work with cross functional teams ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Compensation: Salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 per year Eligible for performance-based bonus Benefits: Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k), generous PTO, and more.
