This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals who are passionate about student mental health and are seeking a flexible, part-time position for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role begins in September 2026 and extends through the end of the school year, with the caseload targeted toward high school-aged students.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential/certification
- Experience supporting high school students in an educational environment
- Strong communication, assessment, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to student needs
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support academic and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer crisis intervention and provide consultative support for educators and families
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
