Sales Coordinator

Sparrow Company is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to support sales and customer service operations for a leading cement manufacturing company in El Paso, TX. This contract position will provide administrative and sales support by processing orders, preparing sales reports, assisting with pricing and invoicing, maintaining accurate customer and sales information, and coordinating activities between sales, customer service, and credit teams. The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent service to customers and internal teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Generate and maintain accurate sales reports and related documentation
• Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide administrative support for pricing and invoicing activities
• Maintain and update customer, sales, and order information in internal databases and systems
• Assist with resolving customer questions, concerns, and issues in a professional and timely manner
• Coordinate information and activities between sales, customer service, and credit teams
• Provide administrative and sales support to the sales team as needed
• Review orders and documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organized and accurate customer and sales records
• Assist with gathering and organizing information for reports and internal requests
• Communicate with customers and internal departments to obtain and provide necessary information
• Identify discrepancies or issues and communicate them to the appropriate department for resolution
• Follow up on orders, invoices, pricing information, and customer requests as needed
• Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One (1) to three (3) years of administrative, sales support, customer service, or related experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience working with spreadsheets, reports, data entry, and administrative documentation
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and a customer-focused approach
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong sense of accountability and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with sales, customer service, credit, and other internal departments
• Experience with SAP preferred but not required
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts
• Ability to commit to the contract assignment through approximately March 2027
