Desired Background and Skills: Current, active Physical Therapist Assistant license meeting state requirements Experience working in schools, especially K-12 settings, preferred Strong communication and documentation abilities Ability to adapt activities and plans to meet students’ individual needs Commitment to working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families Key Responsibilities: Implement prescribed therapy plans, supporting students with diverse physical needs Monitor student progress, documenting achievements and challenges Assist in developing and adapting interventions to encourage student participation Communicate regularly with supervising physical therapist and education staff Maintain accurate, timely records in line with school and state guidelines Uphold all school and ethical standards of practice You’ll enjoy a role that combines the fulfilling nature of pediatric care with the consistency of a school schedule.
