Responsibilities
- Provide direct, in-field nursing care to patients in the ER and ICU as assigned, under physician supervision

- Deliver patient and family education about care plans, medications, and discharge processes
- Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and accurate charting in the electronic medical record
- Rotate between ER and ICU departments as needed, adapting to shifting patient acuity and census
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient flow and care coordination

Requirements
- Demonstrated ER and ICU experience with the ability to float between departments
- Comfort working in a rotating shift environment and managing high-acuity cases
- Strong communication skills for patient education and teamwork
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment; in-state travelers may be considered only if located more than 250 miles from Havre, MT
- Knowledge of care across a broad age range and the ability to adapt care practices accordingly
