Description Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa is seeking a talented Intermediate Line - Pastry Cook 2 to bring their culinary creativity to our kitchen! If you're ready to take your pastry skills to the next level and be part of a vibrant culinary team, we want to hear from you! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to craft delightful pastries that will leave our guests craving more. You'll work closely with our experienced chefs, honing your skills while preparing a variety of pastry products in line with our high standards. Your strong communication and culinary skills will shine as you collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Shifts may start as early as 4:00am. Early mornings, weekend and holiday availability is required for this role. What You'll Do:
- Prepare and present a range of delicious pastries and desserts.
- Assist senior cooks and contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment.
- Follow pastry culinary standards and recipes with precision.
- Embrace learning opportunities and grow your culinary expertise.
- Previous pastry experience and/or a culinary degree.
- A solid understanding of cooking ingredients and techniques.
- Ability to work independently at your station while being open to guidance and training.
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends.

- Previous cooking/baking experience is preferred
- Requires basic English and good communication skills.

- An open and flexible schedule that includes early mornings with a 4:00am start , weekend and holiday shifts.
