Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Spokane, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit, supporting a diverse patient population with a focus on postoperative and acute care. The role requires flexibility to float between units as needed to ensure appropriate staffing and patient coverage. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid license in the state of practice, at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, current BLS certification, and experience with charting systems such as Epic. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a rehabilitation or trauma level II facility, and familiarity with interdisciplinary support teams. Additional Information: Must be willing to float between units. Candidates should be prepared to work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). References covering at least one year (or six months for CNAs) within the past three years are required. Candidates must have a valid, possibly compact, license in hand at the time of submission.
