Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Spokane, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) RN Day Shift, 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026. This position involves floating between units within a short-term acute care facility that is a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The role requires caring for neurology patients and other neurology diagnoses, with a focus on post-surgical care and NIH scale proficiency. Job Details Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission) Education Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Neuro Experience RN, comfortable with NIH scale, proficient in caring for post-surgical neurology patients and various neurology diagnoses Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week Required qualifications include experience with neuro patient care, charting in Epic, and the ability to float between units as needed. Candidates must have experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), craniotomy, CVA, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, neuro stepdown, pre/post neurosurgery, procedural sedation, spinal cord injury, telemetry, and traumatic brain injury care. The role involves working two weekends, with pre-approved schedule flexibility for holidays and specific time-off requests during the application process. Candidates must include two references covering one year during the last three years and respond to specific screening questions regarding previous employment at a similar facility. Candidates should be prepared for rapid onboarding with modules completed pre-start and during orientation in Workramp.
