CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

GENERAL FUNCTIONPerforms agency approved individual, group, and family therapy.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES1. Performs individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring clinical requirements of individual treatment plans are being met.2. Maintains current and accurate billing, statistics, and payment documentation.3. Prepares and maintains current and accurate clinical files and staffing reports4. Attends and participates in case staffings, treatment plan updates, team meetings, clinical meetings, other relevant meetings and provides relevant information. Coordinates services for clients with professional staff in other agency program areas as well as with staff in external agencies related to each case.5. Provides clinical consultation to families of clients not involved in family therapy6. Provides consultation and support to other agency professional staff.7. Performs intake duties as requested and assists with admission and discharge decisions whenappropriate.8. Gains knowledge of and implements the agency REStArT model as well as other trauma-informed therapeutic interventions or treatment modalities and provides consultation as part of the treatment team.9. Maintains knowledge of current field trends; maintains membership in appropriate internal and external committees and professional organizations.10. Develops working relationships with external and internal referral sources.11. Attends supervision on a regular basis and attends appropriate trainings.12. Provides supervision and training as requested.13. Coordinates/leads programs/seminars as requested and contributes to their development, including policy and procedures.14. Is a member of the Psychology Training Committee, which advises the Director and Vice President about the APA-approved training program and contributes to its continued development.EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEA.
