Human Resources Generalist

Monarch Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a respected healthcare/non-profit organization in Harleysville, PA. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, this exempt position will play a key role in supporting employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, and recruiting initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and mission-driven organization.

Key responsibilities include administering and supporting employee medical and non-traditional benefit programs, managing Workers' Compensation and Unemployment programs, overseeing the administration of Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Family and Medical Leave Act programs, serving as a trusted HR resource, conducting routine audits of benefits, personnel files, and HR programs, reviewing and updating performance management documentation, conducting exit interviews, supporting recruitment activities, participating in the organization's Safety Committee, and assisting with additional Human Resources projects and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor's degree, minimum of three years of Human Resources experience, healthcare or non-profit Human Resources experience strongly preferred, experience administering employee benefits, leave programs, and Workers' Compensation, knowledge of FMLA, STD/LTD administration, unemployment processes, and HR compliance, strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion, and proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
