Data Engineer

Data Engineer We are seeking a talented Data Engineer in India. Reporting to the Senior Manager – IT Analytics. The right candidate has strong communication skills, passion for solving business problems with data and has domain knowledge in Finance, Human Resources, and Customer Success. You have empathy, curiosity and desire to improve and constantly learn. As a Data Engineer you will design and build performant data models – facts and dimension to support primary business functions for Finance, Procurement, HR. Responsibilities Design and build data models and ETL loads in dbt, Snowflake, Airflow, Fivetran. Drive best practices, processes and build data models to support primary business functions. Build data stories and influence enterprise decision making. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver reporting and analytics. Write complex SQLs for cross‑functional data analysis, test data quality, and troubleshoot data and reporting issues. Transform data into data‑marts and semantic models in Snowflake via dbt. Mentor junior team members and review peers’ work. Support self‑service data initiatives and train business teams on data platforms. Communicate progress, dependencies, risks, issues and key metrics to business and IT leadership. Qualifications Experience with Oracle Fusion and dbt (must). 2+ years of experience in data analysis using complex SQL in Snowflake and dbt. Strong Python, Airflow, AWS and Fivetran knowledge. Experience with data warehousing concepts and complex business workflows in Finance, Customer Success, and HR. Excellent communication, collaboration and troubleshooting skills. Strong knowledge of Salesforce (campaigns, quotes and opportunities). Tableau Desktop Certified Professional. Hands‑on experience with Python and Java, data science, ML and Gen AI.
