Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $1,362 a week in all, a taxable rate of $15 an hour plus $822.01 a week in housing and meal stipends.
Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor located in Wisconsin. This inpatient rehabilitation role involves providing high-acuity nursing care to adult patients with conditions such as stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The position requires a minimum of 13 weeks of Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience and at least one year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or similar 24/7 care environments. The role is scheduled for night shifts, with a focus on supporting patients' recovery and assisting with daily medical needs to promote patient health, function, and quality of life.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; at least 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environments; Epic EHR experience of a minimum of 13 weeks
- Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient rehabilitation or medical surgical experience related to patient acuity
- Additional Information: The inpatient rehab hospital functions similarly to a medical surgical unit and may sometimes experience high acuity cases. Nurses are required to assist with patient safety by responding to call lights and supporting C.N.As. No float requirement at present, but float to satellite IRF facilities within 20 minutes may be needed in the near future. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/20/2026, with a planned end date of 01/19/2027.
