About the Opportunity:

We are currently working with a large, highly respected commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.

The Role:

The Project Manager will take ownership of projects from preconstruction through completion, working closely with clients, subcontractors, design teams, field leadership and internal stakeholders.

This opportunity would suit a Project Manager who enjoys being involved in both the technical and operational sides of construction and is looking for a platform where they can continue developing toward Senior Project Manager and future leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and overall project plans
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders and project documentation
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and vendors
• Partner closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Monitor project costs, schedule performance and overall profitability
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify and resolve project issues proactively
• Maintain high standards for quality, safety and project execution
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members
• Take ownership of project performance while working collaboratively with senior leadership

Project & Market Experience

Relevant project experience includes:

Aviation

Airport infrastructure, passenger facilities, cargo operations, terminal improvements and other aviation-related construction where safety, coordination and operational continuity are critical.

Federal & Military

Secure, mission-critical facilities, federal buildings, military infrastructure and complex projects requiring disciplined planning, coordination and execution.

Food & Beverage

Facility upgrades, expansions and complex food and beverage facilities requiring specialized construction planning and coordination around ongoing operations.

Healthcare

Hospitals, clinical environments, specialized care facilities, healthcare expansions, renovations and other complex medical environments.

Higher Education

University and college facilities, including academic buildings, research environments, student facilities, renovations and other campus developments.

Manufacturing

Ground-up manufacturing facilities, expansions, renovations and production environments designed around operational efficiency and long-term growth.

Science & Technology

Specialized science and technology facilities requiring close coordination between owners, end users, designers and trade partners, including projects with complex technical and regulatory requirements.

Candidates with experience in one or more of these sectors are encouraged to apply.

Experience does not need to span every market. The key requirement is a strong foundation in commercial construction, project delivery and field operations , combined with the ability to manage complex projects and build strong relationships with clients and project teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Approximately 4–7+ years of progressive construction experience
• Previous Project Manager experience within commercial construction
• Strong field / onsite construction experience
• A solid understanding of the complete project lifecycle
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts and subcontractors
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• The ability to independently manage project responsibilities
• Demonstrated ownership and leadership potential
• A track record of progressing throughout their construction career
