IT Project manager

Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion
- Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans
- Define users and project team members' roles and responsibilities on the project
- Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals
- Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met
- Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders
- Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate level project managers including recommending training and experience
- Lead end-to-end migration of on-premises Oracle Data Warehouse to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Manage relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and creation/oversight of final project deliverables
- 10+ years experience in complex IT projects or portfolio coordination involving multiple stakeholders across multiple business areas and geographies
- 10+ years experience with Cloud migration, Google, Data Warehouse, Migration experience
- 10+ years ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business stakeholders with little to no exposure to large software projects
- 10+ years ability to support Sr. project team staff to drive projects to success
- 10+ years strong organization, communication and presentation skills
- 10+ years experience in organizing highly complex and technical information
- 10+ years knowledge of multiple methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid
- 10+ years experience managing projects within Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation
- Experience in IT Project Management and IT digital transformation
- Ability to work with technical team members and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers
- Strong communication and presentation skills required
- Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects
- PMP Certified
- Led end-to-end migration of on-premise to cloud data warehouse migrations
- Strong knowledge in leading modernizing Oracle, PL/SQL, data warehouses using BigQuery, Dataflow, and DataStream
