Litigation Legal Secretary - TOP Regional Law Firm

Our client, a highly respected regional firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support its New Orleans office and assist attorneys with a wide range of litigation matters.

This role works closely with attorneys to draft, proofread, and manage legal documents, coordinate filings, and ensure the efficient organization of case materials.

Will partner closely with attorneys to prepare correspondence, memos, pleadings, and engagement letters, ensuring accuracy through detailed proofreading and redlining. This role involves assisting with the preparation and organization of court filings, pleadings, and discovery materials; e-filing documents in state and federal courts; maintaining and organizing electronic files within a document management system (NetDocuments preferred); opening new matters and running conflict checks; managing calendars and client contacts; and coordinating scheduling, meetings, and travel logistics.

Additional responsibilities include handling administrative tasks, supporting document organization, and ensuring smooth day-to-day workflow for the litigation team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of litigation support experience within a law firm environment, along with strong document formatting and proofreading skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with court filings and document management systems.
