Quality Auditor – 3rd Shift

Location: Sturbridge, MA
Pay: $17.75 – $23.18/hour + 15% 3rd Shift Differential

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 40 hours/week, with overtime as needed
Job Type: Temporary through early November 2026
Training: 1st shift, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, for approximately 3–4 weeks

Savvy Staffing Solutions is seeking a  Quality Auditor to join the Quality Department at a leading medical device manufacturing company in Sturbridge, MA. This is a temporary position through early November with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a quality and manufacturing environment.

Quality experience is preferred but  not required . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable being trained to use various testing and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical testing using various test equipment
• Conduct inspections and obtain accurate inspection data
• Complete and maintain required testing and quality records
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Make sound decisions based on facts and inspection results
• Assist with assigned quality projects
• Maintain attention to detail and accuracy
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• 1–2 years of Quality experience preferred, but  not required
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to use measurement equipment
• Vision system programming and GD&T experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Willingness to learn new skills and equipment

Physical Requirements

• Work in a cleanroom while wearing required PPE
• Ability to read instructions and inspect parts with visual accuracy
• Frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Important Schedule Information

Training will take place on 1st shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) for approximately 3–4 weeks. After training, the regular schedule will be  Monday–Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM.
