Job Description

- Be responsible for the physical works undertaken by managing the interpretation of project Contract documents and specifications

- Ensure that the necessary documents and records are maintained by the project as required by the RMS Integrated Management System

- Plan, program and develop construction methods and procedures and coordinate the demand of resources and materials to ensure works are completed

- Supervise the construction site and direct reports such as Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors and other Administrative personnel to ensure the general conditions of contract and legislative requirements are maintained at all times

- Liaise and coordinate with third parties as required, such as service providers, local authorities or other agencies

- Understand the engagement and management of Subcontractors and ensure all contractual obligations are met

- Work with and foster a strong relationship with clients of the client and other partners in a collaborative way

- Show and maintain strong support for all Safety, Environmental and Quality aspects on site and work to instil a strong, honest, healthy culture across the project team;

- Understand the contractual documents and maintain the client's best interests and entailments by administering the contract as required; Such as Extensions of time, scope changes, progress claims and variations etc

- Undertake weekly and monthly forecasting and other cost control techniques to ensure costs and project financial predictability are always understood and accurately calculated

- Prepare Project Monthly reports as required and reporting the project status, including financial position, personnel, HSEQ performance to the Managing Director

- Assist in estimating and the preparation of cost estimates, including construction methodologies and other non?price criteria as required for Tender estimates and Expressions of Interests

- Campaign for the client and assist with Business Development by liaising with current and potential Clients, Partners, Subcontractors and Suppliers at varying levels

- Assist the wider business by identifying and assisting to manage risk, inefficiencies and opportunities where possible

- Complete all tasks in compliance with the client's policy, procedure, client specification or statutory obligations

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Project Management with civil construction experience
