Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Summary:
Seeking a Contract Med Onc RN for a 13-week assignment in the Telemetry specialty. This role involves providing specialized nursing care on a dedicated oncology unit with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care according to physician’s orders and unit protocols.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to assess patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the EMR system.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control policies, and unit guidelines.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations while maintaining clinical excellence.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or oncology nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Skilled in telemetry monitoring and patient assessment.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
