Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Day/Night Rotating Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit setting, with potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Rotate holiday coverage as required, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or IMC specialty; travel experience accepted
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of two attempts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care Unit experience
• 18 months of specialty experience obtained within a single facility location
