Project ManagerHCM is looking for a strong Project Manager to join our Healthcare studio in North Carolina. Our next team member will have a passion for design excellence, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to client service. This individual will be the point of contact for our clients and their general contractors and consultants throughout the project duration. They will be expected to manage, organize, and coordinate their HCM team and our engineering consultants to successfully execute architectural projects.This position is open to candidates for our Charlotte and Raleigh/Durham offices. While some flexibility may be available, this is a hybrid position. Candidates should expect to be in-office at least 3 days per week to collaborate with colleagues and clients and to attend on-site meetings as required.About the PositionDevelops a thorough understanding of projects' design philosophy and provides input in developing a design and building performance strategy and effectively conveys this to assigned team members when appropriateLeads projects' technical design effort, subsequent detailed design development, project coordination and quality control efforts during all phases of project work, in close collaboration with Senior Designer and/or Principal-In-Charge.Seeks creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and develops appropriate research and documents to support these solutionsActively collaborates with and coordinates work of consultants and knowledge resources to ensure the project deliverables are coordinated, integrated, and support the design concept and performance goals of the projectDelivers complete, accurate and coordinated project documentation.Oversees the production of schematic, design development and construction documents in compliance with project scope, schedule, cost and design intent during all project phases.Maintains awareness of evolving building technology and systemsOversees construction administration duties (e.g. RFI's, RFP's, change orders, etc.). Reviews shop drawings, material samples and CD's for conformance with design.Develops and manages project schedules including HCM staffing assignments.Manages contract compliance and project financials including fee budgets and invoicing.Fosters a collaborative team environment that mentors and develops junior staffMaintains contact with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phases, participating in marketing, client and owner presentations as required.About You10-20 years of experience in the Architectural fieldLicense requiredExperience, and a demonstrated interest in the Healthcare sector required.A passion for designing high quality, built environments that enrich the lives of patients and medical staffStrong knowledge of building codes and regulations, familiarity with specialized equipment for hospitals and clinics, and experience with Interior Healthcare architecture.Experience leading client meetings and sub-consultant coordinationStrong Revit skillsExperience in preparing construction documents and construction administrationAbout Our CultureCreative.
