OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Carrollton, TX by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Deliver hazardous freight nationwide from Carrollton, TX as part of HMD’s solo OTR fleet.
Role Overview:
- Transport HAZMAT loads safely and compliantly
- Maintain trip logs and complete inspections
- Coordinate route planning for optimal efficiency
Driver Rewards:
- Strong mileage pay: 65 CPM + 4 CPM for hazmat
- Average 2,500 miles per week plus safety and referral bonuses
- Late-model trucks with sleepers, APUs, and inverters
- Dedicated maintenance team and reliable freight
- Home every two weeks with health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k)
Candidates need a CDL A, Hazmat endorsement, and 12+ months of OTR experience.
