Regional Accounting Manager

About the Job Aspen Standard Wealth is scaling rapidly through acquisition, and we’re hiring a Regional Controller. The Regional Controller will play a critical role in scaling the company’s financial infrastructure as we continue to acquire and integrate partner companies. This leader will manage the accounting and finance functions of his/her assigned region and report to Aspen’s Controller. The role is based in New York City and requires a minimum 4 days in office schedule, with occasional travel to acquired partner companies. Responsibilities Responsible for day‑to‑day general ledger processes, monthly close, reconciliations, variance analysis, financial statements, budgets and cash forecasts. Apply US GAAP expertise in complex accounting areas, including revenue recognition, purchase accounting, leases and other relevant financial reporting and disclosure requirements. Serve as a key finance lead during post‑acquisition integration with partner companies, onboarding onto Netsuite, RAMP and other technology solutions. Work closely with operating company accounting teams to transition from cash‑basis to accrual accounting and provide hands‑on support, training and change management to ensure smooth adoption of new processes. Act as primary point of contact for external auditors. Experiences And Functional Skills Required 8+ years professional experience working within accounting, with at least 3+ years on an in‑house accounting team. Experience working in a startup environment with limited corporate infrastructure. Must have in‑depth experience working with NetSuite.
