Outpatient Psychiatrist

PeaceHealth is seeking an outstanding Psychiatrist to join our collegial team in Longview. This position is primarily outpatient, with some inpatient responsibilities 1 week in every 4. Longview, Washington is perfectly nestled in between Portland and Seattle. Why you'll love the Practice: Integrated physician-led medical group. Team of 4 psychiatrists, 4 Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Nurses and ancillary staff. 3 weeks out of 4: Work a busy 4 days in an outpatient clinic setting with a multi-disciplinary team 1 week out of 4: Provide inpatient and consult services at the hospital in the morning and work at the outpatient clinic in the afternoon. Outpatient services are provided on a separate behavioral health campus 1 miles from the hospital There is an opportunity to provide integrated behavioral health care following the AIMS model At the hospital, treat both voluntary and involuntary patients ages 18 and over with acute psychiatric and behavioral disturbances requiring the safety of a locked 22 bed unit, and consultation and liaison services throughout the hospital Also provided: Opioid detoxification and treatment through a buprenorphine (suboxone) program Esketamine treatments Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) Call is one weeknight per week, and one weekend per month.
