Manufacturing Assembler Contractor (6:00am - 2:30pm)

About The Role: This position operates on a standard schedule of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM . As a Manufacturing Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and packing a variety of mechanical assemblies using hand tools and bench top equipment. This role reports directly to the Production Supervisor. This position is based in Emeryville, CA and offered as a 1099 independent contractor role for an initial duration of 3 to 6 months . There may be potential for extension based on project needs and individual performance . What You’ll Do: Follow assembly procedures and work instructions with attention to details. Verify the integrity of materials to be assembled according to the assembly procedure and/or work instruction. Assemble components in specific orders, using the proper tooling and equipment specified in the procedures / work instruction instructions. Visual inspection of components and/or assembly according to procedure / work instruction. Identify and report defective components. Ensure the accuracy of work-in-process associated with the work cell. Maintain cleanliness in your work area and surrounding workspace. Fulfill any other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business. What You’ll Need: Knowledge of ISO9001. Ability to use various hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters tools like torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers. Ability to work effectively as a team member. Strong ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in reading procedures, interpreting visual aids, and following mechanical and electrical drawings. Precision mechanical component placement and assembly.
