Build lasting customer relationships through proactive conversations and outreach Understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products, services, solutions, and digital tools Drive branch growth by identifying opportunities, promoting solutions, and making appropriate referrals Support new account openings, service requests, and credit applications Perform cash handling and teller-line activities while accurately processing transactions Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience Deliver accurate, compliant service within defined risk controls Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and specialists Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities Follow risk and compliance programs, identify and elevate risk concerns, and make sound risk decisions Requirements 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role is desired Experience building trust-based customer relationships is desired Comfort initiating outreach through calls, emails, or other channels is desired Comfort with digital tools and technology and ability to learn new systems is desired Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions is desired Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners is desired Ability to follow policies and regulations and identify and elevate risk concerns is desired Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays Ability to flex between cash handling and customer banking activities SAFE registration required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after start date Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies Must satisfy financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background standards Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Core Competencies Demonstrates strong customer relationship management skills by effectively identifying customer needs and connecting them with appropriate banking solutions.
