Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) / Labor and Delivery Shift and Schedule This position involves working night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. There is no call required, and while there is no 48-hour option or block guarantee, attempts will be made to accommodate scheduling preferences. Flexibility is required to float within Women's Services. A maximum of 6 days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted within a 6-week period. The selected candidate must work at least one major holiday if the assignment overlaps. Requirements Active RN Licensure BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) NRP certification AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and STABLE certifications are preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery Ability to circulate C-sections High-risk labor management skills Experience with Pitocin titration Proficient in fetal monitoring interpretation Participation in neonatal resuscitation Competence in postpartum/couplet care Preferred: Previous experience in a rural hospital and familiarity with LDRP model Scope of Role The role encompasses responsibilities in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and care for newborns.
