Management Accountant

Jeff Abrams is looking for a Management Accountant to support investment accounting and reporting activities for one of his clients. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing recurring reports, and coordinating with internal teams and external service providers on matters related to general partner and limited partner structures. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting fundamentals, sound judgment with sensitive information, and a proactive approach to process improvement.Responsibilities:• Oversee the day-to-day accounting support for investment interests held by principals through general partner and limited partner structures, ensuring records remain complete and accurate.• Contribute to quarterly and annual financial reporting activities, including assistance with consolidating data across domestic and international management company and GP entities.• Prepare and reconcile capital account transactions such as contributions, distributions, transfers, and classification updates.• Monitor deferred compensation balances and related fund activity, helping assess the impact on liquidity and financial reporting.• Assist in organizing documentation and cross-functional coordination for newly established GP investment arrangements.• Maintain detailed schedules for fee waiver activity, elections, and private investment allocations, including items involving non-U.S. partners.• Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party administrators to resolve accounting questions, gather required information, and support timely deliverables.• Handle confidential financial and partner-related information with a high level of professionalism and discretion.• Recommend and support enhancements to workflows, reporting practices, and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.If you are interested in this role, please reach out to Jeff Abrams via LinkedIn
