Receiving Inspector

Receiving Inspector Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Temporary Assignment: 4-6 months $20.00/hr Seeking a temporary Receiving Inspector at our NW Houston facility for a approximately four-six month assignment. The successful candidate will receive incoming materials and parts, conduct initial quality inspections and perform administrative tasks within our ERP system. ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES Place incoming material into Arrived Status in ERP (IFS). Verify that part quantity matches PO quantity. Inspect parts to Engineering documents or specifications including First Article Inspections. Receive purchase orders into the ERP system once parts are verified to be acceptable. Operate Forklift QUALIFICATIONS 1 years’ experience in Receiving and Inspection of manufactured and purchased parts. High School diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year experience in the use of general measurement equipment found in a light engineering environment (includes height gauges and calipers etc.). KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Demonstrated strong and effective communication skills; written, oral, and inter-personal. Ability to multi-task and work independently. MS Office experience required and working knowledge of MRP system is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
