Nurse Manager of Pediatrics
Location: Dallas, TX We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager of Pediatrics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a BSN degree and a current RN license for the State of Texas or compact license. They must also have a current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider certification. Effective 1/1/2014 PALS is required within 6 months of hire or transfer. The candidate must have at least 5 years of RECENT Pediatric experience in the ACUTE CARE hospital setting management experience. We would consider someone with progressive leadership experience in a unit of equal or larger size and complexity.

Pay Range: $107,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Pediatric unit
- Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff
- Manage the unit budget and resources
- BSN degree
- Current RN license for the State of Texas or compact license
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider certification
- Effective 1/1/2014 PALS is required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- 5 years of RECENT Pediatric experience in the ACUTE CARE hospital setting management experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
