Nurse Manager of Pediatrics
Location: Dallas, TX

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager of Pediatrics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a BSN degree and a current RN license for the State of Texas or compact license. They must also have a current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider certification. Effective 1/1/2014 PALS is required within 6 months of hire or transfer. The candidate must have at least 5 years of RECENT Pediatric experience in the ACUTE CARE hospital setting management experience. We would consider someone with progressive leadership experience in a unit of equal or larger size and complexity.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Pediatric unit
• Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff
• Manage the unit budget and resources

Requirements:

• BSN degree
• Current RN license for the State of Texas or compact license
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider certification
• Effective 1/1/2014 PALS is required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• 5 years of RECENT Pediatric experience in the ACUTE CARE hospital setting management experience
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Pay Range: $107,000 - $120,000 per year
