This role requires a strong technical understanding of glazing systems, materials, and constructability, along with the ability to price risk accurately and competitively. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for commercial glass and glazing projects Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to fully understand scope and risk Estimate complex systems including: Curtain wall (unitized and stick-built) Storefront and entrance systems Interior glass partitions and specialty glazing Work with major glazing system manufacturers and suppliers (Kawneer, YKK, Dorma, and similar) Solicit, analyze, and level vendor and supplier pricing Participate in value engineering, scope reviews, and preconstruction meetings Support bid strategy and pricing decisions Assist with project handoff to operations and project management teams What We’re Looking For Senior-level experience estimating commercial glass and glazing projects Strong knowledge of complex glazing systems and assemblies Experience working with large general contractors on commercial projects Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams Why This Role Matters This is a key position within our preconstruction team.
