Commercial Flooring Estimator
The Organization

Our client is a commercial flooring contractor in the Atlanta market.
The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator / Preconstruction professional to support ongoing commercial work and contribute to a disciplined estimating process.
Core Responsibilities

Estimate Preparation: Prepare accurate estimates for commercial flooring projects
Document Review: Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Takeoffs: Perform digital takeoffs and quantity calculations
Scope Tracking: Track addenda and scope changes issued by general contractors
Bid Assembly: Assemble complete bid packages for submission
Project Handoff: Support awarded project handoff to operations
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal preconstruction and leadership teams

Candidate Profile

Estimating Experience: Experience in commercial construction estimating
Trade Experience: Flooring or specialty trade experience preferred
Document Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret construction documents
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Software Proficiency: Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Communication Skills: Professional written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Experience with commercial flooring systems, including carpet, LVT, hardwood, tile, stone, and underlayment assemblies, is a plus.
Compensation & Performance

Salary Range: Competitive base salary, typically $60,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
