Position Summary:

The Civil Estimator will be responsible for Estimating and Pre-Construction for a variety of commercial, industrial, and government construction projects. The position will also be responsible for strategic planning, proposals, quantity takeoffs, and related bid documents. Responsibilities:

Estimating and quantity take-offs
Preparing and managing bid packages
Scheduling
Cost control
Managing RFI
Subcontractor management
Obtains pricing for materials
Client relations
Procurement
Bid analysis and quality control

Requirements:

5 plus years' civil estimating experience
Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Architecture preferred
Experience with estimating utility, structural concrete, and deep foundation work
Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
Takeoff Experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
Ability to work in a team environment
