Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full Time and will work -hour, Variable shifts. Responsibilities Responsible for performing patient scans under the supervision of a nuclear medicine physician. Duties include calculating radioisotope dosages for administration to patients, operating radioscopic equipment, and practicing strict radiation safety. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training - Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine training program. California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire. National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire. Or, National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 6 months of Experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year. Preferred Qualifications 1 year of Experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program).
