Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

Position Summary Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. Full‑time position (≤40 hours per week) with variable shift schedules. Responsibilities Perform patient scans under the supervision of a nuclear medicine physician. Responsibilities include calculating radioisotope dosages for administration to patients, operating radioscopic equipment, and practicing strict radiation safety. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine training program. California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire. National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire. National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. At least 6 months of experience in the last year, or a minimum of 2 years of full‑time experience with no absence from nuclear medicine longer than 1 year. Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program).
