Software QA Automation EngineerPrimary Skills: Python (Advanced), Selenium WebDriver (Expert), SQL/MySQL (Advanced), JIRA (Intermediate), Agile Testing (Intermediate) Contract Type: W2 and C2C Location: Fremont, CA (100% Onsite - 5 days in office) Duration: 6+ months (Possible Extension) Pay rate: $45-$50/hr on W2 or C2CJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team, responsible for ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications through automated and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Selenium WebDriver, SQL, and Agile methodologies, with the ability to develop automation frameworks, execute comprehensive test plans, and ensure high-quality software releases.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.Create test plans, test cases, and prepare test data for functional, integration, and regression testing.Perform backend data validation using SQL/MySQL and verify application functionality.Log, track, and retest defects while reporting testing progress to stakeholders.Support QA documentation, production monitoring, and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software lifecycle.Must-Have Skills:Strong experience with Python and Selenium WebDriver for test automation.Hands-on experience with REST/API, Functional, System Integration, and Regression Testing.Experience with SQL/MySQL for backend data validation and database testing.Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and working in Agile environments.Industry Experience:Prior experience in a QA Automation Engineer or SDET role supporting enterprise web or mobile applications is required. Candidates should have experience with Agile methodologies, test automation frameworks, defect tracking, and end-to-end software testing. Experience with Zephyr/TestLink and programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, or XML is preferred.
